Description
Emilio Rapino is an up and coming enologist and owner of his family winery in Abruzzo. While his family is well known in the region for producing some of the region’s best local wines, Emilio made the decision to take the quality to the next level. He’s the first winemaker in his family to have studied Oenology in school. But that doesn’t mean he’s going to throw away traditions and culture. Rapino invests much of his time in the vineyard. He’s not a laboratory rat like the mass production wineries use to alter and engineer subpar juice. He focuses on guyot vine training using sustainable and organic methods. Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo is considered by many as being one of the best Rosè in all of Italy. Medium plus bodied, rose petal fragrance, with watermelon, citrus and crisp dry finish. 6,000 bottles produced per annum.
